Squadd. Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Squadd ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Liam Gulliver. This policy explains what information Squadd collects, why, and how you can remove it.
What we collect
Squadd is a team-availability and lineup-planning tool. It collects only what's needed to run that:
- Email address — used to sign you in via a one-time code (no password). This is the only way to authenticate; there is no third-party or social sign-in.
- Display name — a name you choose per team, shown to other members of that team so they know who's who.
- Team membership — which teams you belong to, and whether you're that team's creator or a designated coach (roles that grant permission to edit other members' availability and manage the team's lineups).
- Availability status — whether you're marked Can Play, Part Play, Can't Play, or haven't set a status yet, for each scheduled round of each team you belong to.
- Preferred position (optional) — a free-text position you or your team's coach/creator can set against your name, used only as a hint when building a team sheet.
- Player/non-player flag — whether you appear in a team's playing roster at all (some members, like a team manager, may opt out of being listed as a player).
- Push notification token (only if you grant notification permission) — used to send you a reminder before game day if you haven't set your availability yet.
We do not collect location data, browsing/analytics data, advertising identifiers, or payment information. Squadd has no ads and no analytics SDK.
Who can see what
Information within a team (display names, availability, positions) is visible only to other members of that same team — not to people outside it, and not to you across teams you don't belong to. A team's creator and any coach they designate can see and edit other members' availability and lineup assignments for that team; regular members can only edit their own.
Third parties
Squadd uses the following services to operate. They process data on our behalf — none of them receive your data for their own marketing or resale:
- Supabase — hosts the database, authentication, and backend logic.
- Resend — delivers the sign-in email containing your one-time code.
- Expo's push notification service — relays push notifications to Apple's and Google's underlying push infrastructure, if you've granted notification permission.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the You tab in the app, or via the public deletion-request page at squadd.com.au/delete-account. Deleting your account permanently removes your email, display names, availability history, and push token. Teams you created are not deleted — they continue to exist for your remaining teammates, the same way they would if you simply stopped using the app, but your own membership and personal data within them is removed.
Children's privacy
Squadd is intended for use by team organizers, coaches, and players who are old enough to manage their own account (typically the parent/guardian or an older player, not a young child directly). If a device is genuinely shared with a minor, the responsibility for the entered display name/availability data rests with the account holder.
